Garden Suburb Junior School

Jeans for Genes 2019

On Friday 20th September 2019, Garden Suburb Junior School took part in Jeans for Genes day, which is the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders in the UK. It is the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder. Thank you all for participating and for your generous donations. The money we raised on Jeans for Genes Day will now help fund the work of the charity. It will provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders. The children had a fantastic day supporting this charity by wearing their own jeans or trousers to school.

Additionally, the charity are holding a competition, designing tech for Batman! To get involved, visit https://www.jeansforgenesday.org/batmancomp
