Since we started the Summer term, after the Easter holidays, we have been working on our STEMterprise project. We have split into groups of five to make a company that makes food for school children at lunchtime. We have been planting different types of vegetables and fruit such a french beans, chard and kale and monitoring their growth. Did you know that beans are fruit because they have their seeds grown in pods? We have also conducted surveys to find out which products would be popular.

We are looking forward to harvesting the plants for the delicious school meals we will be making. We are making homemade granola bars, tacos, stir fry, pizzas, sushi and crepes amongst other tasty things !
