Garden Suburb Junior School

Boccia and New Age Kurling (NAK) event

On Tuesday 1st April, a selected group of children participated in a Boccia and New Age Kurling (NAK) event in school.

Boccia is a fun indoor sport played with soft leather balls which supports muscle control and accuracy. New Age Kurling (NAK) is an exciting target game played in teams and is similar to ice curling.

The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt many new skills. They are looking forward to help teach their class the 'rules' of the game, so everyone has the opportunity to participate in these sports.

We are looking forward to hosting many more Boccia and NAK events at our school.
