THE PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION
Welcome to the PTA, as parent/carer of a child/children in the junior school you are all automatically part of our PTA (Parent Teacher Association).
What is the PTA?
The PTA is there to help the school raise funds for extra special items and activities that the school would not be able to provide out of the normal budget. In the past we have helped raise money for playground equipment, electronic whiteboards in all the classrooms, projectors, laptops, the new curtains for the hall, stage lighting and the ICT suite.
We hold regular events throughout the school year, making fundraising fun for everyone. Events have included a Summer Fair, lower and upper school disco, Comedy afternoon, a real Circus coming to the school and the usual raffles and cake sales. Come along to the meetings and get involved to help raise money for our school and our children and to meet other parents.
The PTA communicate with parents/carers at informal meetings, via the school Parentmail and in the Head Teacher weekly newsletter.
Below you will find the minutes and reports presented at the most recent Annual General Meeting which is held with the Infant School each Autumn Term. A full set of the PTA accounts are available from the Infant School office.
