The best sporting talent from across Barnet descended on the Arts Depot in North Finchley for the 2019 Barnet Partnership for School Sport Awards evening on Wednesday 25th September. The Barnet Partnership for School Sport (BPSS) Team invited all shortlisted nominees and family members to attend this prestigious event, to celebrate the sporting achievements of the 2018/19 academic year.
The evening, hosted by Jo Eames (BPSS Strategic Manager) and Kim Henderson (PE Consultant for Barnet School Improvement) highlighted the key achievements of those shortlisted, before announcing the winner. We were thrilled to receive our Gold School Games Mark which represents our commitment to school sport and competition.
Guests present in the Pentland Theatre were treated to a spectacular opening performance by a very talented Rythmic Gymnast from Livingstone Primary School. To close the ceremony we were privileged to have the Chelsea FC Women’s Manager, Emma Hayes MBE, join us. She presented the Outstanding Contribution to School Sport Award, before giving the audience an inspirational closing message.
