Year 6 pupils thoroughly enjoyed watching the performance of Macbeth this morning. The show concluded their focus on the work of Shakespeare and gave them a chance to see the play really come to life. Not only were they able to experience the text as it would have been delivered in the time of Shakespeare but they also all played a part in the performance themselves. Using both the traditional language of Shakespeare and explanations of the plot and themes of the play, the actors made the performance fun and engaging for all.​
