Year 5 Windrush Workshop

On Monday, year 5 took part in a Windrush workshop. They explored the hopes, fears, expectations and actual experiences of individuals who travelled on the Windrush, using drama and role-play.

Pupils developed their historical understanding by reflecting on the impact of community change and issues of racism and the sessions helped support their understanding of the growth of London into a truly multicultural city during the 20th century.
