The week before half term, Year 6 went to the Isle of Wight on their residential trip. The children took part in a huge range of activities including abseiling, ‘buggy building’ and fencing. They showed particular resilience when challenging themselves to tasks such as ‘Jacob’s Ladder’.

The children also enjoyed the evening activities, especially the campfire where we sang songs and toasted marshmallows. Despite the rain, the sun stayed out for us to also enjoy a bright morning at the beach!
